The national movement to strengthen the reading culture

The national movement to strengthen the reading culture was launched during the campaign under the title of the Great Festival of Books and People in order to strengthen the reading culture, which was launched on the initiative of the Faqiri Charity Foundation on 25 June 2019, and it was met with enthusiastic reception from different sections of the people of Herat.

On 5 August 2019, the exam of this competition was held at the Mumtaz Hall, and it was held on 23 August 2019, with a magnificent party and special programs and the distribution of prizes to 30 winners of the Great Book and People Festival at the Maulana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi Great Hall.
It ended with the presence of two thousand people interested in books and reading.
This movement, which lasted for about two months, is the most effective program to strengthen the culture of reading, which was welcomed by the Ministry of Information and Culture and the Ministry of Education of Afghanistan, members of the House of Representatives, members of Herat Provincial Council, Herat Provincial Official, Herat Municipality Official, City Council, Departments Herat government and sector, Herat chambers of commerce and industry, athletes, social and cultural institutions of Herat and other different strata of people were met.
